Senior Student Letting Property Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join our hugely successful student letting team in Oxford, on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the management of a portfolio of HMO properties to ensure a high level of tenant and landlord satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:
Supervise day to day operation of the student letting department

To provide first class service to landlords and tenants at all times

Prepare properties for letting, conduct check-ins and check-outs, commission maintenance work, inspections, and be able to train others

In conjunction with Bricks & Mortar, recruit and control the quality of contractors for repairs and minor maintenance

Manage and coach all student letting staff to ensure that they are motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards and act as a role model at all times

Work with Bricks & Mortar to ensure all managed properties have valid safety reports

Work with the team to avoid disputes and resolve issues and complaints

Assist the Office Manager with any property sales

Provide out of hours emergency cover on a rota system, organise the rota and deal with emergency calls as appropriate

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

Minimum three years experience in property management

Experience of managing teams of people

Proven organisational and planning skills

Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

Stong legal knowledge via PropertyMark NFoPP Technical Award qualification
